The process begins with a simple and inexpensive step for the client; so simple and inexpensive that the first step requires only your request and a graphic
response that is actually free.
When we receive your inquiry; the approximate date of your event and your basic ideas as to how you envision your invitation, we will return by mail a very
loose color sketch similar to that shown below. This will let us know if we are on the same page. We will also include samples of previously printed invitations.
There is no charge at this point.
Once we have your feedback on our basic ideas we will begin our research and design work, returning to you a more detailed sketch of the required components,
shown below, along with a cost estimate of artwork and printing. Both prices will be separate which will allow you to compare printing prices with your local print
shop should you choose to have the pieces locally produced.
It is at this point that the real work begins. Our contract, stating the total price of the project, is signed at this point and a 25% non-refundable retainer
remitted before final sketches are begun. Any normal changes in sketches will be included in this retainer and no final art will begin until you are totally satisfied
that we have met your expectations.
We will work backward from your event date to insure that your invitation package is delivered well before the send-out date to allow for calligraphy, collating,
etc. FedEx shipping is included in the final price.
