Jennifer said, "I would like my wedding invitation to have a presidential theme and I wish it could look as though
it had been found in a box in an attic after laying there for ninety years. Can you do that?"
And that's what we did!
The invitation, reception card and response card were hand painted on an airbrushed background, the
letters fading slightly from dark to light shades of brown. We added calligraphy to the
envelopes once they were delivered from the printer. The invitation package was accented with a wax
seal and a presidential postage stamp.
"I'd love a silhouette of Chris and me as an additional piece, and perhaps there'd be a way to include
a favorite quote from President Jefferson on love and friendship."
We used the same "aging" technique as on the invitation.
A monogram of Jennifer and Chris's initials was designed for use throughout the
package and liners were produced for the main envelope and printed in a paper and color of Jennifer's
choice. The basic color scheme was used throughout the project.
Follow-up notes and invitations to the rehearsal dinner were
handled as one-color pieces and photocopied, yet they retained a bit of flair and didn't compromise our theme.

Wedding favors in the form of small signed and numbered watercolor prints were produced. Since Jennifer
and Chris had their wedding reception at Disney's Epcot Center in the Bistro de Paris the prints were of
this restaurant and Disney's Wedding Pavilion.
We finished with place cards using the presidential seal and calligraphied names on the
front and a line illustration of a president's home inside.

The package shown, which included research, sketches, finished art and printing, required about 1-2 months from first
meeting to delivery to produce. Since each package is custom-designed, time and costs involved will vary. This quote
is for the package shown and may be used as a guide. Contact us for pricing on your own specialized invitation package.
Entire invitation package as shown - invitations, reception/reply cards, monogram/envelope
liners, silhouette/quote, map - approximately $1500. Printing is additional.
Or you may opt for just wedding shower and party invitations - $350 for each invitation package. Printed
at a convenience copy shop on a color printer - $150, which included envelopes.
Place cards, centerpieces, scrolls and other items will be priced on a piece to piece basis.
We also offer original watercolor favors and artwork - $320. This price includes the original art created from
on-site sketches/photographs, providing that the site is within a reasonable travel time from my home in Hermitage, Tennessee.
Otherwise, I will rely on you to take relatively clear photographs of the site. Printing is additional.
Printing - We used a local printer to handle our printing. Keep in mind that printing costs canvary greatly
from shop to shop and depend on quantities, choice of paper stock, availability of envelopes, etc.
